International Traffic in Arms Regulations

The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are administered by the U.S. Department of State under the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) and include controls placed on the import and export of space- and defense-related products listed on the United States Munitions List (USML).
